An Encouraging Message

Good morning, online family and friends. This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!

In this post, I am sharing an encouraging message that was shared with me this morning. It is so good I couldn’t keep it to myself. Read it, think intently about it, and have a blessed day.

“Good morning, Happy Friday. The picture is from a post by Alex Dobin that I saw on LinkedIn.

Romans 12:2, Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Proverbs 23:7, For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he. I love the analogy given of the small cub in this picture. As he looks at himself in the water he sees a tiger.

When you look in the mirror never see what others may see. See who God created you to be. We are a royal priesthood. Destined for greatness in the sight of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Don’t give up, keep moving forward in the path God has planned for you. While on your journey, smile and encourage someone, because your smile is the light in someone else’s darkness.

Tell them about the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He is the light!
Enjoy your weekend.”

Encouraging Myself

Help, Lord; I am battle-weary today! 🙏🙏🙏

I had fainted, Unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. (Psalm 27:13‭-‬14 KJV)

Sincerely,

Rev. Richard Edwards
